Step 1. - Sit the quick & easy online exam

Exams on average take less than 10 minutes to complete. Unlimited attempts at each question until you get the correct answer means a pass is 100% guaranteed upon completion! You will receive an email upon completion advising of your successful exam results.

Step 2. - Complete the Online registration for AMAC official's.

* Online Ring/Table Official application to the NTC (Hyperlink to online exam)

On average, less than 5 minutes to complete! This is your official registration to become a member of AMAC's National Technical Commission, with all rights & privileges' stated above & bound by the NTC code of conduct. You will receive a welcome email as a new member of AMAC's NTC upon submission of registration.

Please Note, AMAC reserves the right to refuse any person membership into the NTC should it deem necessary to do so!

Step 3. - Attend your first AMAC seminar & tournament as an official.

At the tournament you will take part in your first officials' seminar and be mentored through the practical aspects of officiating the different events at AMAC tournaments. The mentoring program helps to ease officials into their new role with as little pressure as possible. Upon completion of the day you will have qualified for a Class E Ring Official or AMAC Table Official CONGRATULATIONS!

Train to be part of our National Leadership and Travel Team. Travel around the country, and even internationally, representing WMAC as an official.

Who can become a Ring Official?

Any martial artist who has been training for a minimum of 2 years and is 14 years or older. Any Official under 17 years of age will form part of our Junior League training program.

All AMAC Officials are mentored at each tournament.

The mentoring program allows martial artists to grow in confidence and to learn and develop in the AMAC rules. Eventually, as their understanding and abilities progress, officials will become accredited in their own right.

What if I have a family member who would like to support me by getting involved with AMAC?

Any family member, whether parent, sibling, or partner, who does not train in the martial arts, or a martial artist who has had less then 2 years of martial arts experience is more then welcome to join our team of Table Officials.

What is a Table Official?

As a Table Official you will work with others at the score-keeping tables, keeping time and recording scores awarded by the judges and/or referees..

Table Officials will attend a training session on the day of the tournament to help develop their understanding of time keeping and scoring when judges/referees award points, and they will be also mentored throughout the day.
